About StrongHire Labs and these Terms

StrongHire Labs is the name used for this online project. It is currently operated by an individual based in Victoria, Australia, and is not an incorporated company or a registered business name. In these Terms, “StrongHire Labs”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to that individual operator.

These Terms form an agreement between you and the operator when you create an account by accepting them, or otherwise use a part of the service that expressly requires acceptance. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It is not part of these Terms and acknowledging it is not blanket consent to every use of personal information.

Contact: [email protected]. The service and operator are based in Victoria, Australia.

Eligibility and Australian focus

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You must not create an account for another person without their authority.

The service is principally directed to people in Australia. If you access it from elsewhere, mandatory laws in your location may also apply. We do not represent that the service is suitable or legally available in every country.

Accounts and access

  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
  • Keep your password and access details secure. Tell us promptly if you believe somebody has accessed your account without permission.
  • Do not share an account, impersonate another person, or use another person’s account without authority.
  • You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent it results from your acts or from your failure to take reasonable steps to secure the account.

What the service provides

StrongHire Labs provides career-preparation tools, including resume and cover-letter tools, job-application organisation, AI interview practice, transcripts and feedback, an AI career assistant, a Chrome browser extension for capturing job advertisements, and limited social-connection features. We are not an employer, recruitment agency, registered training provider, migration adviser, lawyer, or financial adviser.

The service is under active development. We may add, remove, or change features for legitimate product, security, legal, or technical reasons. We will provide reasonable notice where practicable if a change materially affects current access.

The project does not currently maintain a separate backup system. Keep your own copy of resumes, applications, transcripts, and generated documents that matter to you. We do not promise that experimental content can always be restored after a failure or deletion.

Chrome browser extension

The extension reads job-advertisement content from the current tab only after you select the read control and grant any permission Chrome requests. Review the captured title, company, description, URL, and selected resume before saving. Saving creates a draft StrongHire Labs application record. It does not apply to the employer or represent that you submitted an application.

Use the extension only on pages you are entitled to access and only for lawful, personal career-preparation purposes. You must comply with applicable law and the job site's terms, and must not use the extension to bypass a technical access control, collect unrelated page content, infringe intellectual property, or process another person's information without authority.

The permissions, account access, local browser storage, job-page data, AI processing, and disclosures involved are explained in the Privacy Policy.

AI outputs and career decisions

AI-generated resumes, cover letters, interview questions, scores, summaries, suggestions, and other outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unsuitable, or biased. They are generated assistance, not facts or professional advice. Review and edit every output before relying on it or sending it to an employer.

You remain responsible for job applications and representations made about your qualifications and experience. We do not guarantee an ATS result, interview, employment offer, response from an employer, or any other career outcome. AI feedback is not a hiring decision and is not provided to an employer through the current service unless you choose to share it yourself.

Voice interview practice

A voice interview sends microphone audio to our real-time voice and speech providers so the service can transcribe your answers and respond. The transcript, interview settings, and AI feedback may be saved to your account. The current camera preview stays in your browser and is not sent to the interview room.

The interview screen provides a focused notice before a session. Stop the session if you do not want your microphone audio processed or your transcript saved. Further details are in the Privacy Policy.

Your content and information about other people

You retain ownership of resumes, application information, messages, interview responses, and other content you provide. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, format, and process that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and comply with law in relation to the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, subject to lawful retention and technical copies described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your content or use it to train a StrongHire Labs general-purpose model. External AI providers may have their own retention or model-improvement practices, which are described and qualified in the Privacy Policy.

You must have the right to provide the content. Do not upload confidential employer material, another person’s resume, referee or hiring-manager details, or other personal information unless you have authority and a legitimate reason to do so. Do not include health, disability, identity-document, financial, biometric, criminal-record, or other sensitive information. The current career-preparation features do not require it.

Social features

Accounts are hidden from user search by default. You may enable social discoverability in Account Settings. While enabled, signed-in users who already know your exact username or email address can find your username and send a connection request. Search results do not display your email address.

Connected users can view limited profile information. Turning discoverability off prevents new searches but does not remove existing connections. Only connect with people you know or choose to interact with. Social features are not private storage.

Do not harass users, send unsolicited commercial messages, scrape profiles, build contact lists, or use profile information for employment screening or another purpose a user would not reasonably expect. You can remove a connection through the available controls.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
  • submit false qualifications, impersonate somebody, defraud an employer, or facilitate discriminatory or unlawful recruitment;
  • upload malicious code, probe security, evade usage limits, disrupt the service, or access data without authority;
  • reverse engineer or automatically extract the service except where applicable law does not allow us to restrict that activity; or
  • use AI outputs or the social features to threaten, exploit, or harm another person.

Free validation access and credits

During the current validation launch, access is free. We do not require a payment method, offer a paid subscription, or start a paid subscription automatically. Current checkout, paid-plan change, and billing-portal functions are disabled.

A free account currently receives 10 daily credits and 40 monthly credits. Daily credits are used first. Monthly credits are used as a backup after the daily pool is exhausted. The starting allocation is designed and tested to cover one use of each current credit-bearing AI feature from an unused balance, including the longest interview tier. Actual availability depends on earlier use, the credit cost of the selected feature, and technical availability.

Feature costs and reset timing are displayed in the service. Repeated use of one feature may leave insufficient credits for other features until the daily or monthly pool refreshes. Unused credits do not roll over. Credits are usage controls, not money, and cannot be transferred, sold, refunded, or redeemed for cash.

We may change future credit allocations or feature costs for product, capacity, security, or sustainability reasons. We will display the current allocation and costs and give reasonable notice where a material reduction affects users. If paid access is introduced later, we will publish the price and payment terms and require any fresh acceptance needed before charging. Using the free project does not authorise a future charge.

Account closure

Account closure currently requires a request to [email protected]. We may verify that you control the account before acting on the request. The Privacy Policy explains the current deletion process and information that may need to be retained.

No subscription cancellation or refund process applies to the current free validation access. Account closure does not itself cancel any legacy Stripe subscription, which must be resolved separately. This does not limit any right or remedy under Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot be excluded.

Our intellectual property

We and our licensors retain rights in the service software, design, branding, templates, and materials we provide. Subject to these Terms, we give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for your own lawful career preparation.

This does not take ownership of your content. The legal status of a particular AI output can depend on the facts and applicable law, so we do not promise that an output attracts copyright or is unique.

Third-party services and links

The service relies on third-party hosting, security, voice, speech, email, and AI providers and may link to job sites or other services. Their systems may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We remain responsible for our obligations under applicable law, but we do not control an unrelated third-party website or service you choose to use.

Suspension and ending access

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate a material breach, protect users or systems, comply with law, or prevent fraud. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for urgent security, safety, fraud, or legal risks.

Because this is a validation project, we may discontinue the service on reasonable notice where practicable. This does not remove a right or remedy that applies under law.

Australian Consumer Law and responsibility

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or another law where doing so would be unlawful. Services covered by consumer guarantees must, among other things, be provided with due care and skill and be reasonably fit for an agreed purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when these Terms were accepted, or that the other party could reasonably have avoided. We are not responsible for an employer’s decision or for inaccurate information that you supplied. This paragraph does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, breach of privacy obligations, or a right that cannot lawfully be limited.

Complaints and disputes

Contact [email protected] and describe the issue and the outcome you seek. We will try to respond within a reasonable time. Privacy complaints follow the process in the Privacy Policy.

Before starting court proceedings, each party should try in good faith to resolve the dispute directly. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or using a consumer regulator, tribunal, or other process available by law.

Changes, governing law, and general terms

We may update these Terms for legitimate legal, security, or service reasons. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date. We will give reasonable notice of a material change and request fresh acceptance where the change materially expands your obligations or reduces your rights. Until you accept that change, the version you previously accepted continues to govern to the extent reasonably practicable. Continuing to use the service before receiving notice or accepting the change does not waive your existing rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in Victoria, but this does not remove a right to use another forum available under mandatory consumer law.

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to the extent possible. A delay in exercising a right is not a waiver. We cannot transfer this agreement in a way that materially reduces your rights without notice and any consent required by law.
